Calgary Food Bank 2017
Nulli encourages employee contribution to their community through the provision of employee volunteer days and team-building events. On Nov. 1, the Nulli team spent the day volunteering at the Calgary Food Bank. According to the Calgary Food Bank:
“Food insecurity is a serious health problem in Canada. It is associated with poorer health, psychological, social, and emotional outcomes. The existence of food banks is becoming more important as the need for these facilities increases.
In Alberta, one in ten individuals experiences food insecurity, with 17% children living in food-insecure households. In Calgary, 47% of Calgary Food Bank clients are families with children.”
We’re proud of the efforts our employees make to support families in need of food security and the community in general
